Hi Kate,
Gracious, is it that long since I was last here?? where has that gone too?
Did you have a good christmas, I saw some of your photos of clifton, what a beautiful place to live, full of colour, here is grey, city grey, and everthing that goes with a large urban population crowded into small spaces....enough of that!

How are things with you and baby abbott? As not Tim says , we haven't had a progress report ... we are all hungry for news!
I read with great interest your blog on global warming... there are some very relevant points made on there, and I think that Mr. Bellamy has got an interesting view on things.
I have been watching a series of tv programmes over here about ancient cities that have been found 30 -40 m plus underwater, all over the world.
These cities are possibly 12000 years old, built when the sea levels were much lower, and have been over run by water thousands of years ago as the waters rose.
Now I do understand that the polar ice caps seem to be melting at a faster rate, but 12000 years ago, we had none of this, and the waters rose anyway, by a considerable amount worldwide.
Is Bellamy right, maybe we are coming out of an ice age, and the world is just getting warmer anyway.... who knows, perhaps this is the way is should be, and we have just been lucky for the last 100000 years..., or is it just another way to fleece the tax payers of more cash.
We are told over here tat we have to reduce our carbon footprint, recycle stuff ( which isn't a bad idea ), pay taxes on flights, cars everthing energy related, when we produce something like less than 1% of carbon emmisions.
Perhaps other countries should look at themselves first.....sorry, this has started to become bit of a rant, when I only really wanted to pop over and say hi and enquire after your health! : o )
You always manage to raise points that stimulate discussion, and isone of the reasons that I enjoy visiting much, infrequently though that it is at the moment, sorry!
Take care Kate, I forgot to ask for a coffee, never mind, next time maybe.
See you soon ,
